CREDENTIALING AND TRAINING

Advocacy and Training Alliance provides structured training programs based on current research models recognized as “best practice.” The training provides a solid therapeutic foundation through didactic and experiential opportunities. Training is conducted by experts in conjunction with credentialed Advocacy and Training Alliance faculty.

Level 2: CSAYP Management/Program Credential

You must attend all 3 days of training. Training will be held via Zoom.

Description: Level 2 training is designed for the unique role of the non-clinician professionals who have responsibilities in the oversight and administration of services or who provides direct services at the bachelor level.  Applicants are awarded the Credentialed Sexually Abusive Youth Professional (CSAYP) certification upon successful completion of the curriculum training and a project completed onsite at their agency.
20 hours of applicable continuing education is required every 2 years to maintain Level 2 - CSAYP credentials.

Time: Start time is 8:30 am EST each day and end at 4:00 pm EST.  Lunch is from 12-1 pm each day of training and breaks will be utilized as needed.

Cost of Training:$850 for Attendees

This is NOT an NBCC Training.

CE Hours: 6 hours will be offered each day.   At total of 18 CE hours will be issued.

Prerequisites for training:
  1. Applicant must have a Bachelor's degree and;
  2. At least 1 year of experience in working in the social service field.
Learning Objectives: Participants will be able to
  1. Summarize the foundations for best practice treatment components for children and youth who have experienced a form of sexual abuse.
  2. Summarize the components of a quality risk assessment.
  3. Recognize and utilize best practice treatment components to address the sexual behavior experience.
  4. Differentiate between best practice treatment for victim, problematic, and/or harmful sexual behavior.
