Training Dates: Training dates for this course are May 6-8, 2024 and May 15-17, 2024 and will be held virtually via Zoom.  You must be able to attend all 6 days of training and cameras must remain on.

The Clinical Credential program is for practitioners who have worked at least one year with youth and have a Master’s degree or higher. Licensure is preferred.  Applicants are awarded the Credentialed Sexually Abusive Youth Clinician (CSAYC) credential upon successful completion of the curriculum training and field instruction. Applicants receive advanced training (didactic and experiential) specific to youth with sexual behavior problems, victims of sexual abuse, and their families. The credential program requires the completion of a field instruction experience at the clinician’s work site or an alternative site.

Training Hours: Start at 8:30 am EST each day and end by 5 pm daily.  We will break for lunch from 12-1 pm. Morning and afternoon breaks will be utilized as needed.

The following are prerequisites for training must be completed to attend training.  There are no exceptions for incomplete prerequisites.  Those who have not completed the prerequisites on time will be moved to attending the next training on the calendar.

1. A Trauma based program completed prior to training.  Certificate of completion for one of the following to be emailed to training@advocacyandtraining.org 7 days prior to day one of training.  
a. TF-CBT online course – to be paid separately from our training fee. https://tfcbt2.musc.edu/
OR
b. EMDR Certificate consisting of 2 weekends of training AND 10 hours of consultation calls. EMDR training is paid separately from our training fee.

2. Reading and completion of knowledge based questions in Lecture Panda.  A link to Lecture Panda will be sent after registration. Readings can be found in Dropbox and link is sent via email once registered. Answers are due in Lecture Panda 7 days prior to training, no exceptions.
