Providers
Advocacy and Training Alliance is a professional association comprised of individuals and organizations that, in their daily work, respond to youth who have caused sexual harm. In response to the lack of a standardized model of care for these youth, the Association emerged in 2004 to lead the professional treatment community toward adoption of a best practice approach to assessment and intervention.
Training
Advocacy and Training Alliance provides structured training programs based on current research models recognized as "best practice." The training provides a solid therapeutic foundation through didactic and experiential opportunities. Training is conducted by local and statewide experts in conjunction with credentialed Advocacy and Training Alliance faculty.
History
Advocacy and Training Alliance was originally titled IN-AJSOP (Indiana Association of Juvenile Sex Offender Practitioners) which was established in 2004. IN-AJSOP was created by a group of professionals who were working with youth with sexually harmful behaviors and formed an association.
